The cool weather saw 48 golfers hit the course for the competition today. In first place was Allan Marsh (11), with a score of 38 points. Runner up was Terry Brown (23), with a score of 37 points. The ball pool for the day ran down the line to 32 points. Nearest to pin on the 7th hole was John Thompson, and nearest to pin on the 17th hole was Murray Hunter, well done John and Murray!.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday August 16<\/strong><br \/>\nPar today for the ladies off the Gold tees. Trying conditions today in the wind. The winner on the day was Dot Tattersall (15), who finished her round on +3, great effort. Runner up on the day was Merlene Whitnall, (32), who ended up on 0. The ball pool ran down the line to -4. Nearest to pin on the 5th hole was Gaile Kruger. Well done Gaile!.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday August 18<\/strong><br \/>\nStableford off the blue tee with a white tee option for the men today, Stableford for the ladies also off the red tees. It was a wet and windy day on the course, we had 77 men take the course resulting in a three grade competition. In A Grade, it was Rod Brooks (6), who scored 35 points, great effort  Rod in trying conditions, runner up in A Grade was Luke Muller (2), with a score of 35 points. In B Grade, Alan Schultz (14), had 36 points, great effort Alan. Close behind was Chris Baldock, (15), with a score of 35 points. In C Grade the winner was Hayden Coles (21), with a score of 31 points, followed closely behind by Dom Lombardi (22), with a score of 30 points, well done to all in very tough conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Nearest to pin on the 5th hole was Hayden Coles, (1.21m), the 7th hole was Paul Kostoski (0.8m), the 13th hole was Charlie Celi (2.35m), and the 17th hole was again Haylen Coles (4.78m). The ball pool for the day ran down to 29 points.<\/p>\n<p>Well done to the ladies that braved the terrible weather conditions, Christine Brackin (23), had a score of 29 points. The ball pool ran down to 25 points. Great effort Christine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday August 19<\/strong><br \/>\nDue to the weather, the competition was cancelled today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRO SHOP NEWS<\/strong><br \/>\nCome in and grab a polo top and get the second one half price. New Ping caps and visors in store.
