Another wild week in terms of weather here ay Curlewis! Extremely windy conditions with heavy showers at times were evident all week for our golfers, which made playing golf near on impossible at times! We can only hope that some calmer, milder conditions are only around the corner. We would be quite happy to sacrifice some poorer weather know for some great weather for our open week in October!<\/p>\n
We look forward to seeing both our members and visitors out on course this week at Curlewis!<\/p>\n
Sunday August 12: Mixed – 30 Players. Eugene Campbell (6) won on C\/B with 36 from Robbie Ryan (8).<\/p>\n
Monday August 13: Men S\u2019Ford: 61 Players \u2013 Martin Frankovic (12) handled the very windy and showery weather best with his 37. He was closely followed by John Dunstone (30) on 36 Women: 15 Players \u2013 Janice Humphries (16) won by 1 with 33 from Elaine Cass (13) 32.<\/p>\n
NTP: 8th \u2013 Mark Holroyd (1.76m), 17th \u2013 And Golden Shot Winner \u2013 Martin Frankovic (1.42m & $59)<\/p>\n
Tuesday August 14: Women 9 Holes Stroke: 32 Players \u2013 Kaye Dove scored 36 and won by 1 from Joan Whitten 37.<\/p>\n
Wednesday August 15: Men PAR: – 117 Players. Ray Wilson (11) won A Grade with Square from Ray Drady (7) -1. B Grade went to Mark Bainbridge (13) with +1 from Steve Nelson (13) Sq. Ian Wong (22) had the best round with +3 in C Grade with evergreen Stan Madden (22) next best on Sq.<\/p>\n

Thursday August 16: -: Women S\u2019Ford: 55 Players – Bernadette Thomas (12) snapped up A Grade with 33 from Elaine Cass (12) on 32. B Grade went to Lyn Schofield (40) with 36 from Jeanette Moorfoot (26) on 33.<\/p>\n

Saturday August 19: Men S\u2019Ford: 150 Players. A) Hayden Butterworth (9) had the best score of the day with 38. Next best was Steve Cadby (10) on 37. B Grade went to Greg Taylor (16) with 37 with Mitch Stewart (14) close behind on 36 C\/B. Ryan Parkinson (19) won C Grade with 36 from Rowan Broad (28) on 35.<\/p>\n
