THE Leopold Sporties, with help from K rock, has raised more than $4000 for the Buy-a-Bale campaign supporting drought affected farmers.<\/p>\n

The \u201cParma for a Farmer\u201d night was held last Wednesday, with all money from every parma sold going straight towards the charity, as well as many generous cash donations from the public.<\/p>\n

Club manager Paul Kelly said it was good to see such fantastic support from the community going towards such a great cause.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe value all farmers that help this industry, considering all our fresh produce and the food that goes on the plate wouldn\u2019t be there without them,\u201d Mr Kelly said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
