THE North Bellarine Film Festival 2018 program has been announced and will comprise five feature films, along with an array of short films.<\/p>\n
A special preview for sponsors was held last week in the Black Box Theatre at the Potato Shed in Drysdale, which will be the hub for the festival that runs from November 16 to 18.<\/p>\n
Animation, experimental and avant-garde short films will also be screened at the festival satellite venue, the Portarlington Neighbourhood House.<\/p>\n
The festival will open with the Australian film Brothers\u2019 Nest on November 16 at 7pm, with a red carpet reception in the Black Box Theatre.<\/p>\n
The American film Wind River will be screened on November 17 at 2pm and the Russian\/French film Loveless at 7.30pm.<\/p>\n
Thalamos will head a line-up of free short films in the same venue at 10am on November 17.<\/p>\n
A second line-up of free short films will be shown at 10am on November 18 at the Black Box Theatre, followed by the Estonian\/Georgian film Tangerines at 2pm and the French film Faces Places at 6pm.<\/p>\n
The free animation, experimental and avantgarde shorts will be shown at the Portarlington Neighbourhood House on November 18 at 2pm.<\/p>\n
Festival information including ticket costs and screening times is available at all service centres and the Black Box Theatre or at northbellarinefilmfestival.org.<\/p>\n
The full program of all short films will be announced in October.<\/p>\n
Tickets for all feature films, including the opening night reception will go on sale in September at the Potato Shed Box Office in Drysdale and at all City of Greater Geelong Customer Service Centres.<\/p>\n
