Running for almost two years, the concept behind the 45 Ocean Grove studio is simple: a circuit training workout that exercises your full body and multiple muscle groups.<\/p>\n
\u201cF\u201d stands for functional training that mimics or recreates everyday movement. This style of training builds and sculpts lean, functional muscle through lifting, squatting, jumping, twisting, pulling, pushing, punching and kicking, rowing and biking.<\/p>\n
The fixed, 45-minute duration of the workouts exists to provide a timing structure to maximise members\u2019 growth and progress.<\/p>\n
With 27 different 45-minute workouts available, the studio offers the same class at different times throughout the day, with everyday offering a different workout.<\/p>\n
The F45 Athletics and Peak Performance Department creates the workouts from a database of over 3,000 different exercises, ensuring members never get the same workout twice.<\/p>\n
The amount of exercise stations, the work time\/rest time ratio and the number of repetitions throughout the circuit also vary daily.<\/p>\n
Unlike regular classes, F45 is organised by a series of TVs mounted on the front wall of the studio that provide a station-by station diagram for each workout; this system is a visual tool for members and enables trainers to focus on guidance and motivation.<\/p>\n
Cam from F45 Ocean Grove said the group classes created a fantastic workout environment and for those interested, they were offering an eight-week challenge.<\/p>\n
