RESIDENTS in Armstrong Creek have invited the community to pitch in and help the environment to keep Armstrong Creek beautiful this Sunday.<\/p>\n
The Armstrong Creek wetland is a waterway that runs right through the heart of the Warralily estate on the eastern side of the growth area.<\/p>\n
To maintain the parklands, the Armstrong Creek Community Group have committed to two cleanup days a year.<\/p>\n
In March, adults and children came together to clean up Charlemont Conservation reserve, and the group is holding its next Clean Up Armstrong Creek Day on Sunday, October 21 from 10amnoon.<\/p>\n
Participants are asked to meet in the parkland on the corner of Ambrosia Drive and Warralily Boulevard to pick up their bags. Bring a hat, drink bottle, sunscreen and gloves.<\/p>\n
Mount Duneed Regional Primary School is also hosting a fundraising sausage sizzle afterwards.<\/p>\n
