RED Rock Regional Theatre and Gallery and the Otways Country to Coast Tourism Association have received funding to share their art through the latest round of the state government\u2019s Small Regional Presenters program.<\/p>\n
Earlier this month, Member for Western Victoria announced the two groups had received, respectively, $15,000 to present their 2019 season and $6,000 to present a series of events as part of the Otways in Spring Festival.<\/p>\n
Red Rock Regional Theatre and Gallery\u2019s shows will include Fred Smith\u2019s Urban Sea Shanties; a performance by concert pianist Roman Rudnytsky with works by Rachmaninov, Chopin and Brahms; and The Space Company\u2019s verbatim theatre double bill Stardust and The Mission.<\/p>\n
The Otways Country to Coast Tourism Association\u2019s shows will include Suitcase Royale\u2019s Chronicles of a Sleepless Moon at the Cape Otway Lightstation; Essential Theatre\u2019s presentation of Shakespeare\u2019s Twelfth Night at The Otway Fly; and Wilma & Friends\u2019 Ludwig\u2019s Legacy, a strings program presented by Wilma Smith at the Otway Estate and Brewery.<\/p>\n
The program provides grants of between $1,500 and $15,000 to support the presentation of a single show or live event, a series of shows or an annual program. Applications are invited from regionally based arts presenters, including not-for profit arts groups and societies, venues and local councils.<\/p>\n
