Scott Rixon [5] and Shane McEachran [8] finished their rounds on 40 points, with Scott coming out on top after a c\/b. B Grade saw George Richards [26] put in a dominant display, closing out his round on the highest score registered for the day, with 42 points. Matthew Chalmers [15] was close behind on 40 points, good enough for runner up. The ball pool ran down the line to 36 points, with Dale Carroll (5th hole, 2.45m) and Shane McEachran (13th hole, 1.20m).<\/p>\n
Thursday, October 18 \u2013 Par off the Red Tees for the ladies\u2019 competition today. It was Faye Hay [41] coming out as the winner, as she finished her round on -2. Dot Tattersall [16] was close behind on -3, which made her the runner up for today.<\/p>\n
Saturday, October 20 \u2013 Blue Tee Stableford for the 86 men that hit the course today. Heavy rain in the morning caused a bit of havoc on course, with showers continuing throughout the day. However, you wouldn\u2019t have thought so with some of the scores that were posted. In A Grade, it was Pro Shop Manager in waiting Riley Siketa [1] who came out on top, finishing on 38 points and returning to the Pro Shop with a bit of pep in his step and a considerably larger head. Charlie Celi [7] was close behind him on 37 points, which made him the runner up. In B Grade Philip Eltringham [11] was a dominant force, registering the best score of the day, 40 points. Jim Marendaz [20] was the runner up on 37 points. In C Grade, Phil O\u2019Brien [21] came out as the winner on 36 points, with Paul Ludowyk [22] hot on his tail on 35 points. The ball pool for the day ran down the line to 34 points, with Michael Roberts (5th hole, 3.20m), Mike Fleming (7th hole, 0.79m), Phil O\u2019Brien (13th hole, 2.10m) and Ian Davis (17th hole, 2.47m) taking out the nearest to pins. Red Tee Stableford for the Ladies. Merlene Whitnall [32] was the winner today, with a score of 37 points. Marg Hales [10] closed out her round on 34 points, which was the runner up score of the day.<\/p>\n
Sunday, October 21 \u2013 White\/Gold Tee Stableford Medley for the main competition today. In cloudy, chilly conditions, it was Janine Dejong [33] coming out on top, finishing on a score of 40 points. Mike Griffiths [15] was a close second, ending their round on 38 points. The ball pool for the day ran down the line to 35 points. Black Tee Series Round 2 for the Men as well today. Mike \u201cBig Man\u201d Burnell [13] took home the chocolates fighting with a leg injury to post 34 points on c\/b from Peter Hermes [5] also on 34 points. The ball pool for the day ran down the line to 31 points.<\/p>\n
