THE Queenscliff Coastguard will throw its doors open for the first time later this month to promote boating safety.<\/p>\n

Held on November 18, the Queenscliff Coastguard open day will encourage families to come along and see displays from emergency services; vehicles and equipment up close. Also, obtain excellent advice about all aspects of boating safety from expert volunteer and professional emergency service members.<\/p>\n

Supported by the CFA, SES, water police and highway patrol, the open day will include a sausage sizzle, tours of the coast guard facility and rescue vessel, PFD safety checks and raffles.<\/p>\n

It will be held at the Queenscliff boat ramp in Hesse Street between 10am-3pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
