A LIBERAL Nationals Government has pledged $16 million to boost Victoria Police infrastructure facilities on the Bellarine Peninsula.<\/p>\n
The Liberal Nationals’ infrastructure package will include building a new $15 million\u00a0Leopold Police Station with capacity for 24\/7\u00a0operation, as well as $1 million to upgrade and guarantee the future utilisation of Queenscliff, Portarlington and Drysdale police stations.<\/p>\n
Liberal Candidate for Bellarine Brian McKiterick said it was vital the Bellarine\u00a0community have the resources it needed to fight crime and protect communities when they needed help the most.<\/p>\n
\u201cI served in Victoria Police for 39 years and spent the last decade working on the Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula, I understand firsthand the need to build a new station at Leopold and upgrade our existing stations,\u201d Mr McKiterick said.<\/p>\n

Re-introducing the Police in Schools programs for local schools across Geelong and the Bellarine, and<\/p>\n
