POINT Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club has labelled an elected Liberal Government\u2019s pledge of $1.8 million as a \u201cgame-changer\u201d for its dedicated volunteers and the community.<\/p>\n

Candidate for Bellarine Brian McKiterick and Shadow Minister for Emergency Services Brad Battin visited the club last week to announce that if elected on November 24, the Liberals would complete the long overdue Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club clubhouse and rebuild the unsafe operations centre.<\/p>\n

\u201cPoint Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club has made a huge contribution to participation in the local community and it\u2019s only fair that they receive the support they deserve,\u201d Mr McKiterick said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou really need to see the club to believe how dangerous Pt Lonsdale SLSC\u2019s facilities are \u2013 concrete cancer has riddled this beach facility to a point of disrepair.<\/p>\n
