For more than 20 years, Ethnicraft\u2019s designers have been creating authentic, contemporary and timeless furniture from solid wood.<\/p>\n
Letting nature speak for itself, each piece is functional and designed with a passion for pure lines and respect for the wood itself.<\/p>\n
With a deep awareness of the impact of industry on the environment, issues are taken to heart, the origin of the wood, the energy used in production and the treatment of the products and waste reduction.<\/p>\n
The oak furniture range is from French and Serbian oak from well-managed forests in Europe, with government agencies applying strict policies with regard to annual replanting and the size and quantity of trees that can be felled each year.<\/p>\n
Production waste such as leftover logs, wood and sawdust are re-used for other purposes.<\/p>\n
The sawdust from logs is either used for fuel for the drying ovens or compressed as a base for pallets.<\/p>\n
