LITTLE Malop Street Central has been transformed into a colourful Christmas wonderland thanks to the artistic talents of local primary school students.<\/p>\n
As part of the City\u2019s Christmas program, students from 37 local primary schools decorated plywood Christmas trees in Little Malop Street.<\/p>\n
Each school was given a Christmas tree that they could decorate however they chose, so there is an eclectic mix of designs, colours and materials.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe school Christmas trees are one of my favourite features of the Central Geelong Christmas Trail,\u201d City of Greater Geelong mayor Bruce Harwood said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s great that our local students get so involved during this exciting time of the year, and they do an outstanding job decorating their trees. Each has its own special design and character.<\/p>\n
\u201cTogether, the trees brighten up Little Malop Street, add to the fun, festive vibe around town, and bring a smile to many faces.\u201d<\/p>\n
