In its inaugural year Torquay Hotel Summer Series (THSS) has locked in a killer line-up with San Cisco, Confidence Man and Cosmic Psychos joining a slew of other stellar acts including crowd favourite The Beautiful Girls.<\/p>\n
Torquay Hotel is pleased to introduce their Summer Series, a specially curated season of incredible Australian music at their iconic regional music venue.<\/p>\n
The epic season program boasts some of Australia\u2019s classic rockers and favourite party bands making tracks down the spectacular Great Ocean Road.<\/p>\n
Running from mid-December until the end of January, THSS is set across two indoor and outdoor stages, with capacity ranging from 500-800, and is a celebration of incredible Australian talent embraced by the picturesque beach town.<\/p>\n
A recent change in ownership at the iconic venue Torquay Hotel marks new direction and commitment to live music in the regional area; THSS sets to establish itself as premium live venue and is working towards putting Torquay on the regular touring map for local and international acts.<\/p>\n
Kicking off the Summer Series is pubpunk trio The Chats on December 14, followed by a soon to be announced show with legendary Australian rockroyalty on Boxing Day.<\/p>\n
Torquay Hotel\u2019s customary New Year\u2019s Eve party is back and bigger than ever with cocktails on tap, a live party band and DJ\u2019s into the night, with Didirri\u2019s mesmerising sounds on January 4.<\/p>\n
Confidence Man is bringing disco vibes for the perfect Sunday-sesh on January 6, before a solid weekend of Australian rock with Melbourne\u2019s Slowly Slowly January 11, and the roots grooves of Sydney\u2019s The Beautiful Girls on January 13.<\/p>\n
A weekend of indie rock is kick-started by Kim Churchill on January 18, with Fremantle foursome San Cisco on January 20, and finishing off what is set to be an epic Summer Series; three days of back-to-back pub jams starting with Ziggy Alberts January 25.<\/p>\n
A Nice Day to go to the Pub kicks off on January 26 (a mini outdoor surf and psych rock festival headlined by Cosmic Psychos) and more acts yet to be announced with a classic Coastal Jam closing the show January 27.<\/p>\n
Torquay Hotel Summer Series is predicted to be an annual summer favourite, and just a taste of the seasonal happenings this vibrant and dynamic Surf Coast town has to offer.<\/p>\n
