BELLARINE MP Lisa Neville says she will now focus on delivering the commitments she made in the lead up to the state election following the Labor Party\u2019s win at the weekend.<\/p>\n
Ms. Neville retained the seat of Bellarine with 61.46 percent of the two-party preferred votes, with Liberal candidate Brian McKiterick coming in second with 38.54 percent.<\/p>\n
She also received 50.43 percent of the first preference votes.<\/p>\n
Ms. Neville said it was an absolute privilege to be re-elected by the communities of Bellarine.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am committed to repaying their trust in me and getting on with delivering every election promise I have made and ensuring the people of Bellarine have a strong voice in the Parliament and the government,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis week I am back at work focused on delivering the commitments we made, including the important reforms to protect the Bellarine from overdevelopment and the important investments in community infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n
