{"id":18598,"date":"2018-12-19T08:35:05","date_gmt":"2018-12-19T08:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=18598"},"modified":"2018-12-19T19:29:14","modified_gmt":"2018-12-19T19:29:14","slug":"temporary-repairs-carried-out-on-ramp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/temporary-repairs-carried-out-on-ramp\/","title":{"rendered":"Temporary repairs carried out on ramp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TEMPORARY repairs have been carried out on the concrete beach access ramp immediately below the Point Lonsdale shopping strip.<\/p>\n<p>These repairs were done so the ramp can be re-opened in time for the peak holiday season.<\/p>\n<p>The safety bollards and webbing around the damaged access ramp have been removed.<\/p>\n<p>Further works to re-lay the bluestone stonework at the base of the ramp are scheduled for 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The access ramp was damaged during a recent sea swell in September 2018, which caused sections of the access ramp to crack and break.<\/p>\n<p>The sea wall and associated infrastructure, including the access ramp, is managed by the state government.
