SENIOR students at Surf Coast Secondary College wrapped up their year last week at their awards presentation evening, held in the school\u2019s gymnasium.<\/p>\n
The awards were presented at the December 19 event to some of the school\u2019s highest achievers and those worthy of recognition.<\/p>\n
Some of the top awards included:
\n\u2022 The Corangamite Medal, presented by Corangamite federal member Sarah Henderson – Mitchell Reither
\n\u2022 Matt Clay Memorial Award – Kiarna Maurer
\n\u2022 Wayne Harris Award – Ty Ash
\n\u2022 Westpac Mathematics Competition – Beau Condon, Jasper Hunt and George Oakley
\n\u2022 Bunnings Trade Award – Lachie Thomas
\n\u2022 ADF Long Tan Award – Alana Vescio and Ethan Veitch
\n\u2022 Community Spirit Award, presented by Torquay Community Enterprise – Coco Cummins, Grace Devlin, Indiana Feher and Bella Martino-Morris
\n\u2022 Deakin University Engineering Encouragement Award – Cai Meddings
\n\u2022 The Caltex All Rounder – Zeesha Cummins
\n\u2022 The University of Melbourne Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program – Lily Watterson
