ROSCO, a beautiful Scottish pony, got everyone into the festive spirit recently by spreading a little bit of Christmas cheer at Arcare Point Lonsdale.<\/p>\n
Dressed up in red and green and donning reindeer ears, the horse and his cart drew quite a crowd.<\/p>\n
It was a real community event with the support from the local Mermaids \u2013 a group of ladies who swim in the ocean together every day.<\/p>\n
The ladies banded together to raise money for costumes and lolly bags on the day.<\/p>\n
The Mermaids are familiar faces in the community as the generous ladies also donate their time to help with the Cycling Without Age bike program.<\/p>\n
Rosco was the centre of attention for the babies and toddlers group who were invited to join in on the fun.<\/p>\n
