The Surf Coast Kite Festival is an annual\u00a0community event that raises funds for the Jan Juc Pre School.<\/p>\n<p>This year, it was held alongside the Kite Surfing World Championships, which were being held in Torquay for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Organisers want to thank sponsors the Surf Coast Times, McCartney Real Estate, Coles, the Surf Coast\u00a0Shire, DBM Signs, Torquay Community Enterprise and Caf\u00e9 Moby.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ORGANISERS of the Surf Coast Kite Festival held another successful festival on December 15, with hundreds of people turning out to the event.
