THE Plumbing Business (TPB) has been servicing the Surf Coast and surrounds for the past 12 months and is family-owned and operated by Bart Martin and his wife Ayesha.<\/p>\n
The pair along with their two children made the sea change from Melbourne to Anglesea at the end of 2017 and brought with them the company they launched in 2010.<\/p>\n
\u201cI completed my apprenticeship with my father Denis, who\u2019s been a plumber his whole working
\nlife. I reckon I learnt from one of the best,\u201d Bart said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI ended up taking over a lot of his clients when we started TPB at the start of 2010 and he started to work for us, taking a back seat. He still helps me out from time to time just for old time\u2019s sake.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bart said he loved his job as it gives him the opportunity to work outdoors utilising both his
\nhands and mind, with another fully qualified plumber employed by the company.<\/p>\n
\u201cI get great satisfaction standing back at the end of a job, looking at the finished product and
\nthinking, I did that!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am licenced in all areas of the trade and service, plumbing maintenance, gas systems, hot
\nwater units and bathroom renovations.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t necessarily specialise any area in particular but if any, it would be roofing.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have a real talent for finding and repairing leaks. I can repair rusted roofs and gutters or
\nsimply replace with new.<\/p>\n
I have all the equipment to safely clean your gutters, and with fire season upon us, I will give high priority to gutter cleaning jobs when booked in.\u201d<\/p>\n

I take a lot of care and pride in my work and always take the time that is needed to do a professional and competent job.\u201d<\/p>\n
Having been a part time resident in Anglesea for over 17 years, Bart and his family are loving life since they made their residency permanent.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just love it here. My two kids attend the local primary school in Anglesea and we haven\u2019t
\nlooked back.<\/p>\n
We feel very lucky to live in this paradise where we can take a two-minute walk to the beach,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe kids and I love surfing, so we do that most days in spring and summer.<\/p>\n
