HIGH school and university students as well as volunteers from Jan Juc Surf Lifesaving Club gathered at Fishos in late January to supervise the Kids Plus Foundation\u2019s summer water program.<\/p>\n

Running for its second year, the program aims to help children with cerebral palsy to engage in a fun and safe physiotherapy session out on the water.<\/p>\n

A challenge for parents of children with special needs to get down to the beach, the support from volunteers gives families and their little ones an opportunity to enjoy a summer\u2019s day out in Torquay.<\/p>\n

Delivered across three days, it was all handson deck at Fishos, with jet ski rides and water activities organised by volunteers on offer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
