THE owner of a boatshed in Indented Heads has submitted a planning application with the City of Greater Geelong to demolish and rebuild it.<\/p>\n
The applicant, Andrew Li-Rosi from Werribee, is proposing that Boatshed 18, which is situated on The Foreshore, undergo the $45,000 project.<\/p>\n
According to the planning application, the structural plans include the safe removal of small amounts of asbestos as per relevant legislation, removal of colourbond roof and rafters, along with external concrete walls, and concrete floor and footings.<\/p>\n
A concrete slab will then be laid before the installation of a new timber frame and roof as per engineers’ specifications.<\/p>\n
Builders would then install new colourbond roofing, render all walls and install front doors to match existing doors.<\/p>\n
