{"id":21323,"date":"2019-03-20T17:45:07","date_gmt":"2019-03-20T17:45:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=21323"},"modified":"2019-03-20T17:46:32","modified_gmt":"2019-03-20T17:46:32","slug":"kaos-returns-to-anglesea-for-a-fun-filled-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/living\/kaos-returns-to-anglesea-for-a-fun-filled-weekend\/","title":{"rendered":"KAOS RETURNS TO ANGLESEA FOR A FUN-FILLED WEEKEND"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Hundreds of children from the local&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>area and beyond are expected to take&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>to Anglesea during the April school&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>holidays as the popular Kids Adventure&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Outdoors (KAOS) festival returns for&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>the fifth year on April 13-14.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Making its mark on the seaside town, KAOS is determined to help motivate more children to get active outdoors more often.<\/p>\n<p>Over a weekend of fun-filed&nbsp;activities, the&nbsp;festival will play host to a range of exciting, fully-facilitated programs on land and water, timed for the middle weekend of school holidays.<\/p>\n<p>Children aged 3-13 years old will be able to enjoy a range of active adventures including rides, runs, climbs, paddles and plenty more wild games.<\/p>\n<p>Well loved favourites such as surfing, camping, mountain biking, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, giant swing, skateboarding, climbing, geocaching, hut&nbsp;building, bush cooking and more are scheduled for the weekend, with kids encouraged to get native and take part in the rock pool rambles, bushranger sessions at Coogoorah Park and boomerang art.<\/p>\n<p>The newly added \u201cWild Goose Chase\u201d hosted by the Anglesea Family Caravan Park is sure to be a crowd pleaser.<\/p>\n<p>The weekend program kicks off with Saturday showcasing a full day\u2019s activities, with sessions starting from 9am until&nbsp;4.30pm, and Sunday sees a half day of activities with sessions from 9am until 12pm.<\/p>\n<p>A free activity hosted opposite the Anglesea Bowling Club for kids aged between 3-8 years will also be an offer.<\/p>\n<p>Parents can choose from a range of packages, with prices varying from $30- $170.<\/p>\n<p>Two camp out options start at $30 for adults and other little siblings.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on how to get involved, head to <strong>www. kidsadventureoutdoors.org.au<\/strong>, phone 0497 890 400 or email <strong>kaosanglesea@gmail.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hundreds of children from the local&nbsp;area and beyond are expected to take&nbsp;to Anglesea during the April school&nbsp;holidays as the popular Kids Adventure&nbsp;Outdoors (KAOS) festival returns for&nbsp;the fifth year on April 13-14.
