GEELONG mum Emma Rayson and her business partner Alison Kenna have taken out second place at the AusMumpreneur National Retail Business of the Year Awards.<\/p>\n
Ms Rayson and Warrnambool\u2019s Ms Kenna, who founded Alma Custom Designs, said they were totally elated winning this award. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt felt like we have been validated for all the hard work we have put into our small business over the past three years,\u201d the pair said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe meet so many inspirational women over the two-day event with varying talents and stories to share. The other women in our category should feel very proud of themselves as we are as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
The awards were held at Doltone House in Sydney, where talented mums from across the country gathered to support and encourage other Australian \u201cmumpreneurs\u201d.<\/p>\n
