Congratulations to all the players, selectors and officials involved with Saturday\u2019s victory.<\/p>\n<p>The club is enjoying an extremely successful year and is approaching the future with renewed confidence and vigour \u2013 the first flag for many years, a new club house in full swing, substantial improvements to the surrounds and other infrastructure, growing membership and a huge jump in participation and income. This has made the 2018\/19 season a significant one in the club\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to club championship event winners Trish Ryan (Ladies 100 Up), Ian Winchester (President\u2019s Handicap) and Leon Wilson, Rob Miner and Deb Clancy (Mixed Triples).<\/p>\n<p>Although the pennant season has finished, a full fixture of feature events and social bowls is still available and members are encouraged to enter several upcoming events &#8211; including the 2019 Invitation Classic Triples on Sunday, March 31, Thank You Day (free bowls day for members) on Thursday, April 4, Surf Coast Freemason\u2019s Charity Day at Torquay on April 5 and the annual Ron Leeman Lions Charity Day Saturday April 13.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BOWLS SCHEDULE<\/strong><br \/>\nAnyone wanting to try bowls is most welcome to contact the Club.<\/p>\n<p>Regular Bowls: Mondays (12.30pm) and Saturdays (1pm). Match is open for entries on the day until 11.00am by noticeboard entry, phone or email.<br \/>\nCasual Bowls: Open for members anytime; public bookings welcome.<br \/>\nFriday Social: Afternoon Practice.
