MURRADOC Road \u2013 which is the main route between Drysdale and St Leonards \u2013 will receive a $5 million upgrade thanks to the Liberal National Government.<\/p>\n
Corangamite Liberal federal member Sarah Henderson visited St Leonards last week to make the funding announcement, which comes from the Roads to Recovery program.<\/p>\n
\u201cMurradoc Road is in very poor condition,\u201d Ms Henderson said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have spoken with many local residents in Drysdale and St Leonards who have raised this as a very big concern.\u201d<\/p>\n
Locals have welcomed the funding announcement, as they continue to lobby the City of Greater Geelong for help to \u201cmake their town look cared for\u201d.<\/p>\n
Minister for Cities, Urban Infrastructure and Population, Alan Tudge said funding for the project was in the dederal budget.<\/p>\n
