The Geelong Field Naturalists Club regularly visits Warralily and are thrilled that four Bird Watching Hot Spots are now listed on the eBird Australia website. People from all over the world can access this website to find out what birds are being sighted in the area.<\/p>\n
Over fifty-six different bird species have been sighted in and around its wetland systems and nature reserves; pelicans, spoonbills, many species of ducks and waterfowl, swans, parrots, goshawks, falcons, wrens, honeyeaters and many more.<\/p>\n
The meandering Armstrong Creek is also a rich habitat for frogs and aquatic native flora and fauna. With its old tree hollows, leaf litter and fallen timber, it has developed into an important and treasured environmental space — just as the Warralily estate has become a precious tailor-made environment for families.<\/p>\n
