THOUSANDS of riders got on their bikes and rode the Great Ocean Road at the weekend during the 2017 Amy\u2019s Gran Fondo.<\/p>\n

The annual cycling event drew thousands of riders and spectators to Lorne, which hosted Amy\u2019s Otways Criterium and the Amy\u2019s Wall hill-climb on Saturday.<\/p>\n

There were five rides on Sunday \u2013 the 120km Amy\u2019s Gran Fondo, running anti-clockwise from Lorne to Apollo Bay and back; the 65km Amy\u2019s Gravel Fondo, a gravel event on a nontechnical course through the rainforests of the Otway Ranges that starts and finishes in Apollo Bay; the 45km Medio Fondo from Apollo Bay to Lorne; and two 14km Family Fondo rides, starting in Lorne and Apollo Bay.<\/p>\n
