A TIME capsule of the Bellarine will be captured through photography over the span of 24 hours this Easter weekend.<\/p>\n
Four local photographers \u2013 Marcel Berens, Wayne Peters, Michael Chambers and Ashlin Vijayan \u2013 came up with the idea of Bellarine 24: a coffee-table book of candid photography that captures the diversity of the community.<\/p>\n
Marcel said he and the other photographers would set out at 3am on Easter Saturday until 3am on Easter Sunday and capture sporting clubs, community organisations, businesses and vital services like the police and ambulance.<\/p>\n
\u201cBellarine 24 is a unique opportunity to portray the good, bad and ugly through photography, creating a time capsule of the region in 2019,\u201d Marcel said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are keen to capture things as they really occur \u2013 from the bakers starting work at 4am, to the last of the revellers leaving the pub at closing time.\u201d<\/p>\n
