company \u201cStrut & Fret\u201d has announced its inaugural season of the Spiegeltent Geelong, presenting a world-class lineup of cabaret, comedy and music at the city\u2019s iconic Johnstone Park.<\/p>\n
Scheduled for May 30 until June 23, the season is headlined by the award-winning \u201cLimbo\u201d. The talented mix of cabaret, circus and acrobatics \u2013 which is led by an international cast \u2013 has wowed audiences around the world.<\/p>\n
Scott Maidment, director of Strut & Fret and Limbo, said the company is thrilled to be showcasing its renowned entertainment production to Geelong.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are super excited to bring Limbo and the Spiegeltent to Geelong,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s been quite a few years in the making and we think its new home at Johnstone Park will be the perfect place to enjoy this special event; hopefully for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n
Presented in the breathtaking Aurora Spiegeltent, Limbo keeps audience members on the edge of their seat through unbelievable contortion, intoxicating acrobatics and jaw-dropping stunts.<\/p>\n
Touring some of the world\u2019s most famous destinations including London, Munich, Auckland, Adelaide, Bogota and Brussels, Limbo has entertained popstar Madonna on two separate occasions.<\/p>\n
The full 2019 program will also feature some of Australia\u2019s biggest touring artists, which will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
