Love Central Geelong started the program in September 2004, offering 10 free activities. The program, exactly 13 years later, has grown to 79 sessions of free activities and 27 sessions of paid activities from 14 Central Geelong businesses.<\/p>\n
To celebrate milestone, Love Central Geelong has put together an exciting, action-packed \u201cCreatures\u201d themed program to keep the kids entertained. There\u2019s an activity on every day from September 23 to October 8.<\/p>\n
All activities are listed in the Central Geelong Kid Fun Guide \u2013 a guide to what\u2019s happening in Central Geelong each school holidays.<\/p>\n
On October 4 and 5 from 10.30am-1.30pm there will be a Butterfly Gazebo located at The Carousel, 1 Eastern Beach Road. An activity for all ages, kids can feed the butterflies and learn about these majestic creatures from experienced butterfly handlers. Bookings are required.<\/p>\n
The Courthouse Youth Arts, located at 60 Little Malop Street is hosting a Real Dinosaur Show with Toby the T-Rex on September 25 at 10.30am and 12.30pm. Toby the T-Rex walks, blinks, breathes and roars, giving a full interactive dinosaur experience for all ages. Bookings are required.<\/p>\n
A tale loved by many, Dr Seuss\u2019s How the Grinch Stole Christmas will be read by Santa in the GPAC Foyer on September 27 at 10am and 1pm. Guests are invited to meet Santa and his Elves, and The Grinch will pop in to see what all the fuss is about.<\/p>\n
This activity is suited for kids aged 5 years and over, with a gold coin entry free to be donated to Barwon Health. Bookings are required.<\/p>\n
