COMMUNITIES from Victoria and beyond have dug deep, producing another recordbreaking total for The Royal Children\u2019s Hospital Good Friday Appeal with a total of $18,175,467 raised, including $74,726 from Geelong.<\/p>\n
From tin shaking and door knocking, to raffles, fundraisers and auctions all across Victoria, rural and regional appeal collectors collectively raised $3,482,573.<\/p>\n
CFA collectors around the state fundraised afurther $1,612,671.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe final tally could not have been reached without the dedicated communities across the state who have come together for the kids,\u201d Good Friday Appeal director Anne Randall said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are so thankful to each and every person for their support.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe would like to take this time to acknowledge Area Managers in regional areas as well as the people in those communities for their donation; from tin rattlers, to dedicated fundraisers and of course to those organising events all across the state.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll the generous donations and funds raised go towards state-of-the-art equipment and technology, patient and family centred care, research, education and training at the wonderful Royal Children\u2019s Hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n
