Circus Oz is preparing to make a spectacular return to Geelong this May with its new show, Precarious.<\/p>\n
Jampacked with the company\u2019s trademark stupefying acrobatics, phenomenal aerials, live music and physical comedy, Precarious \u2013 which is part of this year\u2019s Deakin University Theatre Season \u2013 takes audiences on a journey into the chaos of nature.<\/p>\n
The characters, inhabitants of the unknown world, attempt to navigate their way through the unfamiliarity of the mysterious environment they find themselves in.<\/p>\n
\u201cPrecarious is simply a must-see for families or anyone wanting to be entertained,\u201d Geelong Performing Arts Centre CEO Joel McGuiness said.\u201cCircus Oz has been performing and touring for more than 40 years now and their unique combination of jawdropping antics, trademark humour and social commentary, all set to a killer soundtrack of live original music from the Circus Oz live band, guarantees a great night or day out.<\/p>\n

Directed by Rob Tannion and Kate Fryer, the 70-minute non-stop spectacle has a cast of talented young performers.<\/p>\n
Inspired by the icy plains of the Antarctic, Precarious sees new arrivals manipulate their surroundings, and each other, to turn the inhospitable into the possible.<\/p>\n
Precarious will deliver four performances from May 30 to June 1. A special family ticket price of $45 is available (two adults and two children, or one adult and three children).<\/p>\n
