LOCAL Rotary members will be popping up on the Bellarine during the next week to help raise awareness of mental heath issues.<\/p>\n
The Rotary Club of Drysdale is making a difference this year by \u201cLifting the Lid\u201d on mental illness and members will be at Wishpond Portarlington on Tuesday from 10am and The Bungalow in Drysdale from 2.30pm \u2013 head along and make a donation to this cause.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am sure that in your lifetime you have known people that struggle with mental health issues and it is becoming more evident now we are talking more openly and acknowledging the importance of sharing our inner most thoughts,\u201d Caroline Rickard said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe can see a broken arm or leg but we can\u2019t see the turmoil inside a person\u2019s mind.\u201d<\/p>\n
