The Bellarine\u2019s creative music scene has a new and unique venue for artists to jam and record songs.<\/p>\n
Recording company Greenman Rehearsal Studios has moved into an inspiring new premises in Ocean Grove. Bellarine\u2019s Music Man Roy Green, with his love of music and passion for audio engineering, started a long time ago.<\/p>\n
Now he has created a modern technological space for recording artists and voice actors at 5\/2 Sykes Place, Ocean Grove. Greenman Rehearsal Studios is a haven for bands and artists to work in a relaxed, comfortable and chill-filled space designed for creativity, collaboration and inspiration.<\/p>\n
With an analogue and\/or digital workflow the studio can cater for a wide range of musical projects and audio experimentation.<\/p>\n
While some studios are known for a certain sound or a precise method, Roy sees the entire concept of music production differently.<\/p>\n
He said recording should never be about one rigid way of doing things. Recently, Roy generously opened his studio to local community club musicians from the St Leonards Community Space \u201cSpace Ukes\u201d group.<\/p>\n
Space Ukes have been delighting audiences of all ages with their unique take on songs for almost a decade.<\/p>\n
Space Ukes group leader Janet Chalmers said it was virtually impossible to make sad music with a ukulele.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is such a small, fun and happy instrument,\u201d Janet said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe at Space Ukes really appreciated the opportunity to use and record at Greenman\u2019s.<\/p>\n
Roy being an expert sound engineer really made the experience fruitful and productive.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe recording studio is a great opportunity for local artists and bands to congregate and bring music to life in a fully operational and affordable space.\u201d<\/p>\n
