OCEAN Grove\u2019s Thomas McGregor is Queenscliffe Bricks\u2019 first Future Lego Master Builder.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was incredibly difficult to choose the winner of our Future Lego Master Builder competition,\u201d Queenscliff Rotary\u2019s President Karen Pecar said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe 43 entries showcased the technical and imaginative abilities of entrants aged from 6 to 15.<\/p>\n
\u201cEntries came from locals and as far away as Box Hill.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe whole selection process took a lot longer than we initially planned because of the quality of the builds.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Pecar said they finally selected 10-yearold\u00a0 Thomas\u2019 build \u201cCustom Chevy C10 with a dog in the back\u201d.<\/p>\n
Come and see Thomas with his winning build, photos of all the competition entries along with a hall full of Lego displays this weekend at Point Lonsdale Primary School Hall.<\/p>\n
Queenscliffe Bricks is a fantastic family day out with amazing Lego creations, masterclasses, free play zone, competitions and prizes, sales and giveaways.<\/p>\n
Ms Pecar said the event would also feature four interstate exhibitors bringing their wonderful creations.<\/p>\n
Held this weekend on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9, entry is $10 for adults, $6 for children aged 4-14, and free for those under 4.<\/p>\n
The event is organised by the Rotary Club of Queenscliffe supporting local, national and international Rotary projects.<\/p>\n
