A prestige townhouse offer at Villawood Properties\u2019 flagship Armstrong Mount Duneed has drawn a powerful market response with 18 house-and-land packages snapped up in just 10 days.<\/p>\n
Sited opposite the resort-style Club Armstrong and Bunjil\u2019s Nest adventure park and beside a neighbourhood activity centre with medical and retail outlets set to be built later this year, the response was driven by unbeatable location and quality, and pricing as low as a net $379,000.<\/p>\n
With masterplanned parks, cafes, shops, playgrounds, schools and sports grounds at the very doorstep, the townhouses attracted powerful buyer interest well before their release, according to selling agent Homebuyers Centre.<\/p>\n
Homebuyers\u2019 Andrew King said that convenience factored highly in buyer considerations as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cConvenience was a huge thing, the practicality of the floor-plan makes these townhouses ready-made to live in,\u201d Mr King said.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can just walk in, they\u2019re landscaped, everything\u2019s done, right down to the letterbox. There\u2019s nothing to do other than come in with your furniture and your clothes.<\/p>\n
\u201cLocation and affordability were big features too, of course.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe sold the whole lot in just 10 days, 11 in the first release and 7 in the second.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr King said buyers included three repeat Armstrong Mount Duneed purchasers along with six first homebuyers with a total of 15 being owner\/ occupiers.<\/p>\n
Homebuyers plan a second tranche of townhouse packages, also sited centrally in Armstrong, later this year.<\/p>\n
The premium status of the lowmaintenance packages is underscored by Armstrong\u2019s Masterplanned Excellence award from the Urban Development Institute of Australia in 2017.<\/p>\n
This was complemented by the UDIA\u2019s Community Engagement award last year as well as a Judges Award for the designer of Armstrong\u2019s wetlands and character streetscapes, Barry Murphy.<\/p>\n
