OCEAN Grove Surf Life Saving Club has received a welcome donation of $1,400 from local real estate agency Ocean Grove Real Estate.<\/p>\n
The donation comes as the club officially opened its new surf beach complex on Sunday.<\/p>\n
After a solid campaign over the month of June, Ocean Grove Real Estate enlisted the support of the Ocean Grove community to assist in the donation.<\/p>\n
The agency offered a $50 donation for every property appraisal completed in the month of June.<\/p>\n
With a great response from the community, Ocean Grove Real Estate has donated $1,400 to the club.<\/p>\n
Agent Jacob Platt said it was a fantastic result and that the community really got behind them, while agent Mark Blaskovic said it was really important to give to a local organisation with close community ties.<\/p>\n
The donation couldn\u2019t have come at a better time with final works and furnishings still to be completed to the new facilities at the club.<\/p>\n
With 1,000 members involved in the Surf Life Saving Club and growing, the donation will support tireless work of the club.<\/p>\n
