BARWON Heads Football & Netball Club\u2019s annual Ladies Day at the weekend raised an impressive $4,700 for the Pink Hope Community Foundation.<\/p>\n
Pink Hope ambassador and cancer survivor Liana Purser spoke on Saturday about her recent journey with triple negative breast cancer and touched on the importance of support and having regular check-ups.<\/p>\n
Guests enjoyed an afternoon of bubbles, delicious food and games, while a live auction was run by real estate agent Peta Walter, from local sponsor Bellarine Property.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo all the women that came along and spent the day with us, raising not only much needed funds but, awareness for breast and ovarian cancer we would that to say THANK YOU!\u201d organisers said.<\/p>\n

For those who don\u2019t know much about Pink Hope, they are a breast and ovarian preventative health hub, working to ensure every individual can assess, manage and reduce their risk of breast and ovarian cancer, while providing personalised support to atrisk women.<\/p>\n
