The population of Armstrong Creek in 2011 was 353 people and by the 2016 Census the population was 4,237 showing growth of 1,100 per cent in the area during that time. Since the past Census, growth has continued at a startling pace, with 2018 alone seeing more than 800 lots sold surging the population closer to 10,000.<\/p>\n
The state government has consistently recognised the importance of the growth area in accommodating the unforeseen levels of population growth in Victoria.<\/p>\n

Developed as a sustainable community, with a focus on walkability, public transport provision and sustainable water use along with physical and social infrastructure provided at an early stage, the aim is to build communities rather than just releasing land for development.<\/p>\n
