BARWON Heads\u2019 Ellie Harrison took out the blue ribbon 16 and under divisions at the 2019 Billabong Occy\u2019s Grom Comp on the Gold Coast last week.<\/p>\n
Ellie was crowned champion in the 16 and under girls division, defeating fellow Victorian Sage Goldsbury from Cape Woolamai by less than a point in the tricky final heat of the division.<\/p>\n
She also won the 14 and under girls division, defeating Lilliana Bowery from Queensland in their final heat.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a pretty sick feeling,\u201d Ellie said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe waves were pretty fun out there and having the 14s final was a great warm-up for the 16s final heat.<\/p>\n
