QUEENSCLIFF Music Festival (QMF) has united with Woodfordia\u2019s Festival of Small Halls to bring some of Australia\u2019s biggest names in music to regional communities around the nation.<\/p>\n
Now in its 15th year, the festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that take the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists featured on the bill at major Australian festivals and sends them on the road to halls in small Australian towns.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Spring 2019\u201d instalment will begin in Dorrigo, New South Wales before concluding on the Bellarine at QMF.<\/p>\n
Andrew Orvis, QMF director, said the partnership will see more music delivered to more communities.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Queenscliff Music Festival delivers and develops excellence in Australian contemporary music and celebrates community,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis natural alignment with such a prominent tour of community halls has us looking forward to continue our partnership with Festival of Small Halls, and the opportunity to deliver more of the best music to even more communities through this programme.<\/p>\n

The Small Halls tour will see Celtic group The Jellyman\u2019s Daughter, nominees of the Best Acoustic Act in the Scottish Alternative Music Awards, journey to the QMF stage in November.<\/p>\n
Joining them will be emerging Aussie folk artists Sara Tindley and Ash Bell who recently teamed up after having worked alongside each other for several years as solo artists.<\/p>\n
