ALMOST 70 people attended a Sunday afternoon dance at the Leopold Hall earlier this month as part of Seniors Month.<\/p>\n
Patrons attending danced the afternoon away while they enjoyed music supplied by a four-piece band.<\/p>\n
Attendee Jean mentioned that her parents would take her to the dances (in the same hall) in a basinet and place her behind the piano for the evening.<\/p>\n
Everyone seated in the front row of the photo mentioned they attended dances at the hall before they reached the age of 10 and some were still attending.<\/p>\n
After all these years, Old Time Ballroom Dancing is still being held on a weekly basis at the hall and the music is alternated between two keyboard players and a five piece band.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
