BELLARINE Community Health is a major sponsor of the Rotary Club of Ocean Grove\u2019s upcoming art show.
\nThe annual event, now in its 9th year, will showcase a huge array of local, regional and interstate artists across several categories including painting, drawing, printmaking, flora and fauna and abstract\/semi abstract.
\nThis is the first time Bellarine Community Health has sponsored the event.
\n\u201cWe\u2019re really thrilled to be involved with the Ocean Grove Rotary Club and the Art Show,\u201d BCH CEO Shane Dawson said.
\n\u201cWe support a lot of community-based activities that benefit the health and wellbeing of communities on the Bellarine and art can be very therapeutic in people\u2019s lives.
\n\u201cFunds raised from the event also go to charities that provide opportunities to enhance wellbeing for people in need.\u201d
\nMore than $10,000 is available in prizes, with organisers expecting an even bigger turnout of artists on previous years.
\nBellarine Community Health\u2019s HealthCare Bus will also be on display on the Saturday of the Art Show with attendees welcome to have a look inside.
\nThe Rotary Art Show is run over the Melbourne Cup long weekend at the Point Lonsdale Primary School function centre from Friday November 1 to Sunday November 3.
