THE Grove Pavilion was a spectacle of Santa hats, Christmas sweaters and reindeer ears on Sunday night as the Ocean Grove community gathered for the annual Carols in the Park.<\/p>\n

All four local schools, Surfside Primary School, Our Lady Star of the Sea, Wallington Primary School and Ocean Grove Primary School, scored some stage limelight, with the Geelong Symphony Orchestra (led by Hayden Dinse) and Geelong Harmony Chorus also performing.<\/p>\n

All door proceeds were forwarded to Debbie\u2019s Place, a not-for-profit organisation providing support to teenage girls on the Bellarine who are at risk of not completing their VCE studies due to housing instability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
