They loved the music, we changed the layout so it was really open.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone had a lovely day. We had a number of mussel outlets, they were going really well and plenty of volunteers (about 300).<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.queenforever.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Queen Forever \u2013 The Australian Queen Tribute Show<\/a> \u2013 was one of the highlights alongside the children\u2019s acts. We also had roaming acts which were a big hit with the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29793\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29793\" style=\"width: 682px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-29793 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/01\/Layer-1-2-2-682x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"682\" height=\"1024\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29793\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Queen Forever &#8211; The Australian Queen Tribute Show &#8211; was one of the highlights.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ms Follett said they had stalls near the pier for the first time which proved to be popular.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were more options for people. The weather was perfect and there was a great range of food vendors including locals, which was wonderful.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29797\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29797\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-29797 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/01\/MUSSEL04-1024x508.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"508\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29797\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rie\u2019s Kitchen hosted mussel cooking displays.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s what we want, to showcase the region so it was great to have local providers representing the Bellarine. We\u2019re getting better and better at that each year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Portarlington once again reaped the benefits from festival traffic with local accommodation booked out and restaurants and cafes packed.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29796\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29796\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-29796 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/01\/Layer-1-3-1-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29796\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Frank Coulthard and Suzie Thomas welcomed visitors.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe event is a major attraction for the town and one of the busiest days of the year for local traders.
