It\u2019s all free for the kids to come along and make the kites.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30129\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30129\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30129 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/01\/Layer-11-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30129\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Isla, 9, attempting to catch one of several kites she helped launch.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThey fly them down on the beach and then we have a sausage sizzle going as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ms Euson said the day was always a wonderful way to celebrate being an Australian.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt brings families together. We start at 9.30am and run until lunchtime. Everyone knows we are here so we\u2019re always flat chat.
