Victorian real estate will continue to do everything asked of it as further restrictions were announced.<\/h3>\n

The Andrews Government announced a return to tighter restrictions, which means that crowds at auctions and open house inspections will continue to be limited to 20 people.
\nThe transaction of property is incredibly vital to our state\u2019s economy, and we will continue to provide this essential service in a safe and controlled manner.
\nAuctions and open for inspections, will continue to operate under strict regulations. The REIV has provided members with reference guides and templates to help them adhere to the requirements.
\nThe REIV\u2019s Residential Market Index for Victoria increased by 1.8 per cent to 125.6 over the past month, showing that despite the pandemic our market is holding its ground.
\nReal Estate Institute of Victoria has also welcomed the appointment of Melissa Horne as Minister for Consumer Affairs, Liquor and Gaming Regulation. The REIV has written to the minister, congratulating her on the appointment.
\nThe real estate sector welcomes the opportunity to continue its positive and open dialogue with the office of the Minister for Consumer Affairs.
\nREIV president Leah Calnan has welcomed the opportunity to work closely with Minister Horne.
