BELLARINE Community Health is asking the community to help them recommit to White Ribbon Day.<\/p>\n
White Ribbon Day is part of the Barwon Month of Action to raise awareness about violence against women and children.<\/p>\n
Bellarine Community Health has a large White Ribbon symbol on display outside the Portarlington Community Health Centre.<\/p>\n
The signatures of commitment from BCH staff and the community have faded, so the ribbon has been taken down and repainted.<\/p>\n
BCH is now asking people to re-sign the ribbon as a commitment to speak out against violence.<\/p>\n
The White Ribbon will be in the foyer of the Portarlington Community Health Centre for the month of November for people to sign.<\/p>\n
It will then go back on display outside the centre.<\/p>\n
