	{"id":34969,"date":"2020-10-01T01:00:16","date_gmt":"2020-09-30T15:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=34969"},"modified":"2020-10-01T01:00:16","modified_gmt":"2020-09-30T15:00:16","slug":"staying-healthy-in-mind-and-body","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/living\/staying-healthy-in-mind-and-body\/","title":{"rendered":"Staying healthy, in mind and body"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jean Hailes for Women&#8217;s Health is encouraging women to continue to take steps to improve their mental and physical health beyond Women&#8217;s Health Week.<\/p>\n<p>Women&#8217;s Health Week is a campaign of events and online activities centered on improving women&#8217;s health and helping women make healthier choices.<\/p>\n<p>Jean Hailes for Women&#8217;s Health, with City of Greater Geelong, G21 and Leisure Networks, wants women and girls to know that even though Women&#8217;s Health Week has ended, women can still actively work on improving health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Webinars and health content are still available for anyone wanting to learn more about, and take steps to gain and maintain, good physical and mental health,&#8221; City of Greater Geelong chief Martin Cutter said.<\/p>\n<p>The group&#8217;s webinars \u2013 covering a range of topics from healthy eating to health checks \u2013 are available for viewing on Leisure Networks YouTube Channel.<\/p>\n<p>The Women&#8217;s Health Week website is also still live and has a variety of articles, podcasts, videos, quizzes and more, covering a huge range of health matters for women and girls.<\/p>\n<p>The City was a community partner for this year&#8217;s Women&#8217;s Health Week, supporting Jean Hailes for Women&#8217;s Health in providing preventative healthcare and promoting healthier lifestyles. Held annually in early September, the campaign is Australia&#8217;s biggest week of focusing on good health and wellbeing for women and girls.<\/p>\n<p>This year, more than ever, it was a timely reminder for women to take positive and proactive steps towards being healthy, in mind and body.<br \/>\n&#8220;As COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease, we&#8217;re all starting to feel a little more at ease.
